Book Donation Facts:

  • In middle income neighborhoods, the ratio of books per child is 13 to 1 while in low-income neighborhoods, the ratio is 1 age-appropriate book for every 300 children
  • 38% of children in Nevada are living in low-income families
  • Representatives from Spread the Word Nevada-Kids to Kids will be on site to accept book donation
  • Photo and interview opportunities with Kumon Instructors

Kumon students celebrated October’s National Book Month by donating books to support children’s literacy in Nevada.
