ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) Foundation announced the global expansion of the Monster Worldwide Monster Scholars program to award scholarships to outstanding young scholars pursuing college majors and careers in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). Monster Worldwide has increased its STEM scholarship grant established in 2008 funding STEM scholarships in the United States to include the awarding of additional scholarships in international Monster communities.

Monster Worldwide, which supports programs that offer individuals access to the academic foundation necessary to succeed, acknowledges the Foundation's goals and is awarding $1,000 STEM scholarships for the 2010 academic year to under-represented students residing in Monster communities domestically and internationally. Scholarship recipients must demonstrate a proven interest in a STEM field. The following 2010 scholarship recipients attend state-supported secondary schools in the targeted communities.
